Once we understand your situation, we’ll agree the approach that’s most likely to be useful and practical for you, but it usually happens in one of three ways:

A short, focused piece of work with a small senior group.

We pressure-test the strategy, identify what really matters, and arrive at a clear line the leadership team can confidently stand behind and use.

Best when decisions need to be made quickly and ownership sits with a small group.

Team Workshop

A collaborative process designed to build shared understanding and alignment.

We work together to identify what’s currently unclear, compress it into a clear line, and make sure everyone understands what it means for their role and decisions.

Usually delivered as a series of sessions.

Install Support

Ongoing or follow-up work to help the line take hold beyond the initial session.

This can include refining how it shows up in messaging, decisions, or internal conversations, and helping leaders reinforce it over time.

ABOUT DAN THOMAS

I’ve spent most of my career helping people communicate complicated ideas clearly.

That’s included time in advertising, writing and film, and more recently working directly with leaders and teams on strategy. Across all of it, the same pattern kept showing up: the best ideas often fail, not because they’re wrong, but because they’re too hard to remember and use.

One Clear Story grew out of that observation.

The work I do here is about helping organisations simplify without dumbing down, and find language that people can actually carry with them into everyday decisions.
